Look in your wp-config.php file for this line:
define( 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true );
If it’s there, delete it.

It could be disabled in your theme’s functions.php, too. Check that file as well.

So, I found that line in the wp-config.ph ( I checked again )
however, I am not sure how I should do it. I don’t want to make a mess.
I saw that I cannot just simply remove the line and close the file. it doesn’t get saved.
Do I have to download the file, modify it, and then reload it again?
