Hi ledcoltd,
Happy to help! I’ve responded to each of your questions below:
1. All the field labels are aligned in the middle of the form/page. How do i change the alignment to the left as it shows when am editing the form?
If your field labels are getting aligned to the center of the page, your site’s theme is probably adding styles that are also applying to our forms. Luckily, this should be a simple fix with a little custom CSS.
If you could please share the URL where your form is embedded, I can create the CSS you’ll need (by inspecting the code on your specific site, I can be sure the CSS I provide to you will work to override existing centering styles).
2. Is it possible to have the same width for all the fields? The message field is at full width even though i’ve checked the box for medium width, it seems to change the height and not width.
Sure, so the Paragraph Text field will always be full-width (Field Size will adjust height rather than width for this field). This is for better user experience on the majority of sites, and I apologize if it’s caused any frustration.
To make all field widths match, I’d recommend changing the Field Size of all other fields (such as Name, Email, etc). This can be done by opening the form builder, clicking on the field (to open the Field Options panel), then opening the Advanced Options section. This will show the Field Size dropdown.
If this makes some fields look a bit too wide, you could set up a multi-column layout as well. Here’s our tutorial with all of the details on that.
3. How do i make the contact form work? Its not sending any e-mails to my inbox.
I’m sorry to hear you’re seeing issues with email deliverability. This is becoming a someone common issue across the internet, unfortunately. For details on why this happens and how to fix it (including links to step-by-step instructions for each solution option), please check out our tutorial on fixing email delivery issues.
I hope this helps! When you have a chance, please let me know that form URL and I’ll put together the CSS you need for the centering issue.
Thanks! 🙂
