Hi,
We would like some more information. Did you only want to have one category output the %%ct_product_cat%% variable?
OR did you want to output the authors of the product category?
Hi,
I only want to have one category output the %%ct_product_cat%% variable
Buenas, yo también necesito la misma funcionalidad, pero no soy programador. ¿Hay algún plugin que lo haga?
@webmestreglenat If you add the %%ct_product_cat%% template variable to your desired product SEO title field, does this output the expected results for you?
@laura744 Would you mind what you have written in English so that we can assist you better?
yes, it works as expected.
But I would like to filter the elements of a single category
Would you mind elaborating more on that please?
For example, I have the following categories on an item
authors
– authors 1
– authors 2
Type
– books
– comics
I want to put in the title
authors 1, authors2
but using %% ct_product_cat %%, I have
books, comics, authors 1, authors 2
I would like to use something like this %%ct_product_cat_authors%% to filter just authors
The %%ct_product_cat%% template variable shouldn’t output the value like this books, comics, authors 1, authors 2. However, if it does on your site, unfortunately, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
This is not resolved. I am having the same issue. The title is outputting all of the categories each separated by a comma. This needs to be resolved as this does not help SEO 🙂
