Template attribute not showing up in admin

Hello everyone Ive created a template to apply to my portfolio section of my website however when i go to create my page in the admin section, under attributes I dont have the option to choose this template, Ive uploaded it and ensured its ion the correct directory etc and Ive added the sufficient PHP at the top of my template?

Any ideas?
