Mailchimp not working

    Hi, I have a problem with a plugin that comes with the theme X of theme.co.
    The plugin is called “Email forms” and allows you to connect the form to Mailchimp. The form works correctly from desktop, instead on mobile it does not work. If I disabled Wp Cerber the plugin works correctly.

    You can find the newsletter at the bottom of the page.

    The developer of the theme tells me that the plugin it’s utilizing the PHP cURL or similar. The AJAX is only applicable for browsers and javascript. The connection between your site and Mailchimp is internal to your server and only possible with PHP.
    Any advice on what to do? Thank you!

    Hello, this is the string that happear in the log when I try to submit the form by using a mobile device:
    POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    HTTP/1.0
    Referer: …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=cerber-security

    Please can you help me to fix this problem? The form is not sent if I use a mobile :/

    Hi!

    I think you need to enable “Use less restrictive policies (allow AJAX)” on the Antispam admin settings page.

    I found the problem! I turned off the comment form protection and now it works!

    The comment form? That’s weird. Could you tell what reasons to block are shown on the Activity tab for those blocked attempts to submit the form?

    If you mean the Traffic Inspector, now when I submit the form the activity appears:

    Sorry I understood what you mean. There is no event in the activity tab related to this problem

    But they should be. If the plugin blocks something, it writes this event to the Activity log. There is no exceptions. So when the plugin blocked Mailchimp it wrote appropriate log entries.

    I tried again. I activated the comment protection module and tried to send the form. The form does not send data and no events are recorded in the activity bulletin board.
