    Hello caldera-team!

First of all: thank you so much for the wonderful plugin. It made my first steps with my startup so much easier and I have yet to find anything better suited to my needs.

There is one question that has popped up and that I would be very grateful to have answered by you, though: I plan to use the information from one of my forms to auto-fill a form letter in Microsoft Office. For this I use the .csv file, which can be attached to the notification emails. It works quite well, too. Unfortunatelly my form is in German and there will be quite a lot of Umlaute in the form as well as in the user input. These always come out as gibberish (“ä” as “ä”, “ü” as “ü”, etc.) in the .csv and therefore also in my form letters.

Is there a way to avoid that and have the form put the original Umlaute in the .csv?

I’m looking forward to your reply.

    Kind regards
    Christian

    Hi Christian,

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have support for special characters in .csv exports. It’s something we’re working on.
