    When exactly does it happen?

It happens whenever I try to run a quick scan (I’ve tried 5-6 times), within a few minutes, I get a message there is a problem (in Chrome) and to check the console. I press OK, the scan is then aborted. When I press F12, I see those messages several times.

I have tried disabling session and/or temporary, and PHP CURL is enabled.

Could you open the browser console, switch to the Network tab and click the Start Scan button. You should see multiple consecutive POST requests to the server with 5 or less seconds interval.

The requests go into pending mode and after 1 minute generate a 504 error

It repeats this 3 times and then quits

You should check the server error log. There should be more informative error messages than just a 504 error.

What Siteground hosting plan do you use?

    Thread Starter jpb_adx

    (@jpbmaga)

Timeout waiting for output from CGI script

Please reinstall the plugin. There are no such lines in the code.

I thought those log entries might be related to the scanner, but apparently not, as I re-installed and attempted to run the scanner without generating any errors in the PHP log. However, the scanner still hung as before.
