Plugin is sending blanks

    Hi there!

    it’s been a while since I used the plugin (usually for big updates or terms change) so I can’t tell when the problem started occurring.
    I’m currently running latest version available (1.5.2) on WordPress 4.8.6, no SMTP.
    Whenever I try to send an email from the plugin (with or without layout) the mail is received with subject and body completely blank.

    Any idea why is this happening?

    Hello goliathdev,

    We checked the above issue but we could not reproduce the same at our end for mention wp version and plugin version, please check if it conflicts with any other plugin. Try by deactivating all other plugins and keep only wp-email user active and check if it works.

    Hi,
    Great plugin, and send all emails without problem,
    just the emails arrive empty (subject and body).
    I already dis-activated other plugins, but got the same problem.
    No error message

    I found the solution:
    2 minor problem:

    Problem 1: the folder “images” is not under the folder “css”
    Solution 1: I copied manually the folder “images” and the 3 png under the “css” folder”

    Problem 2: max_execution_time was set on my server to 1,000.
    Solution 2: I set the time to 10,000

    …Et voila! all work like a charm

    The issue of pega0564 and mine are unrelated.

    Max execution time of 1000 is more than enough to send one email (which is what I tested first) so, no problem there.

    As for the wrong pathing of images, I don’t see the problem. It would just fail to show some default images, not fail at parsing the whole content of the email.
    Please note this was tried both with and without a layout.

    Also would like to point out that a proper plugin shouldn’t need these manual fixes from us.
