Pinterest shares not linking correctly

Recently, the links for my pins to Pinterest using Sassy Social Share all link to the photo in the post instead of the post itself. While it looks like everything is fine, the description is there and I am able to select whichever picture I want to pin, when I go to Pinterest and click on what is supposed to be the link back to the post, it only goes to the photo. This happens in both Edge and Chrome. When I try using the Pinterest share button from Sassy Social Share, it locks up the site and I am unable to pin at all. It worked fine up until a little over a month ago. I’ve tried disabling other plug ins that might interfere, but with no resolution to the problem. How can this get fixed? Thank you!
