@lovehumanos,
You don’t need to any shortcodes to the course or membership catalog pages. Adding shortcodes actually causes duplicated catalogs.
We do not have official Elementor support but many many users are actively using Elementor with LifterLMS.
Can you try temporarily switching to a theme like twentyseventeen and seeing if that helps? If it still happens we can rule out the theme as the issue.
The problem could be that these pages aren’t really pages but placeholders for the post type archives that are automatically generated. It would be equivalent to trying to edit you blog post archive with elementor. I’m not sure if that’s possible but the post archive isn’t really a page.
Maybe you can try to create a “custom” archive page per our instructions here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/can-i-make-my-own-course-page/
This custom course page would not be the page you’ve selected as your course catalog (it would just be a regular page). Perhaps the problem is that elementor is trying to load a custom post type archive for editing which I’m guessing isn’t possible
Let me know if that helps,
Hello Thomas,
Thank you very much for your response, I went ahead and created the Custom archive pages with the shortcodes and now is working with no problems.
I found I think there is a possibility of a bug with LifterLms and the Sydney Theme, the reason is that when I went to LifterLms settings and under the Tab Courses I set up my course page on the Course Catalog menu and when I reviewed the page is when I get the error ¨Preview Page cannot be loaded¨the the same thing happen with the Membership tab. However, is important to mention that this issue was only happening with the Courses and membership tabs, I didn´t get the error with Accounts and Checkout tabs.
I didn´t change my Theme as you recommend because I am not sure if by doing this I will mess up my current site.
Again I appreciate your time and help.
Angel
