    Haven’t accessed my blog in a long, long time. Tried to access it recently and I get the wordpress welcome screen asking me to load wordpress. I entered my blog title and email address and pressed install. Lots of messages came up (many failed messages) and there was mention of the blog already existing. I looked through the list of “My blog disappeared” comments, but could not find one that was similar to my issue. Any ideas?

    a few things to check on:
    -can you access your database* and see any rows with posts?
    -do you have any backup of the database?
    -are the database credentials corrected in the file wp-config.php?

    *normally you are able access your database via PHPmyAdmin area of your webhosting account

    My blog is hosted by Yahoo Small Business. I can log into the small business portal and see the various folders wp-admin, wp-content. Not sure how to access the database, and don’t think I have a recent backup. Not sure how to check the db credentials in wp-config.php
