Better manage categories?

    The site I’m building now has 277 categories before launch. Writing a post and selecting the right categories is really hard. Has anyone seen a plugin that makes the Categories selector some form of ajax interface or a better hierachy viewer?

    Here’s one, although it might not work for 2.7. However, I’ve found that many of my old plugins work in 2.7, so give it a try (backup first).

    On edit – I see comments on the plugin that it didn’t work in 2.5. 🙁 So sorry.

    I have the same trouble
    but that plugin don’t work.
    Maybe there’s something eslse?

    Sorry – I don’t know of anything. You might write to the developer and see if he has plans to update the plugin.

    I also have this problem. Surprised how clunky the v271 category manager is. If it would at least collapse the sub-cats so I can work at top level.

    Been searching for weeks. Tried all I’ve time to. It’s gotta be out there somewhere!
