Hi, guys, I use Updraft Plus backup on several sites. Within the last 48 hours or so 06/02, I’ve begun updating a few of my sites and noticed that regardless of time of day, regardless of site, with very strong wifi, regardless of site, each time, the update does not go through and shows the same red alert in each instance. I have Go Daddy shared hosting but have PHP 5.6 or 5.7 which should allow updates……The red alert displays “Update failed:0.”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

WordPress plugin updates are distributed by wordpress.org – plugin authors themselves aren’t involved. (And it’s WordPress core that downloads and unzips them). So, this is beyond our reach or control. You are in the same approximate part of the world as the one other person who reported the same problem, so presumably wordpress.org have a problematic download or cache server in that part of the world. You’d need to find the appropriate forum to report that in, to find the people who are in charge of that part of wordpress.org (I have no idea who that is, unfortunately). You can also update manually – just download the zip file from the plugin page (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/), unzip it on your PC, and upload the resulting folder ‘updraftplus’ to replace the existing one (wp-content/plugins/updraftplus).

Or, I suppose, just wait a few days and probably their problem will clear.

    David
