    Hi,
Currently, I am redesigning my blog/shop site.
I transferred a copy of an existing site to a new host with a new domain.
I completely restructured this new installation and removed a ton of products and posts to get a fresh and improved start.
I have not yet submitted my sitemap nor has this site been indexed.
    Here my questions:
Can I delete all the redirects that are piled up in the Yoast plugin?
Or is there a way to start with a fresh and current sitemap?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • If you changed the domain name of your site, we recommend you to create a domain level redirects from the old domain to the new ones to ensure all the traffic can reach to your new site.

On the other hand, if the old redirects are still necessary on your new site which was created by Yoast SEO plugin, you can either keep them or delete them depending on your needs.

    Thank you.
I would have another question. My new site has also a forum for discussions how do I best set up the Yoast plugin for it. I mean what to index and what not?

    Hi @justnailedit,

Unfortunately, we couldn’t provide you with site-specific SEO advice. As a general guideline, with a forum, you will be having many pages, some of which might have very thin content. You may want to noindex these pages with thin content.
