How to add custom fields as new input sections when I write new posts.

I’m fairly new with custom fields, I am using wordpress to manage a downloads site and was wondering if I could make custom fields show up as brand new individual sections like “Tags” “Categories” does or something?

If anyone can provide a tutorial/links to do this It would be so awesome, I asked how much it could cost for someone to help with this and I am being charged 200-250.00 just for these sort of customizations from people on getafreelancer so I am trying to do it myself since I am a 20 year old with a small budget.
