Most recent Upload Folder has different UID. Cannot select/delete/etc

Been having Malware problems.

Think it’s related to my most recent blog post. The uploaded images keep disappearing. When I find them on the server, I cannot change/update/delete them because the UID is not mine. instead it shows up as httpd:httpd instead of myusername:httpd. Worked with web host scrubing all files last night and all was golden. This morning everything’s back again and these images have gone to question marks again.

Are there any more secure methods for uploading images to wordpress without using the basic uploader. Is there any way for me to regain use of the basic uploader so it reflects my id again. I’ve alreay changed passwords, etc.
