    Hello,
I’m currently dealing with GDPR compliance on my website and to comply with the regulation, I need to have the option to delete private data of people posting to the guestbook after some time (as there is no reason to keep them and keeping them would violate GDPR). I, however, need to keep the guestbook post.
In other words, I need the option to delete email address and IP address from the post but keep the post text. Ideally, I need the plugin to do it automatically. Let’s say delete email address and IP address after one year after posting.
Would it be possible to add this option to some future version? Currently, the plugin is not GDPR compliant unless I delete whole posts (which I do not want to do, of course). Thank you very much.

For the next version I plan on adding an option to anonimyze data in each entry. That might be done using the dropdown in the entries list.

About the timer function, I am not sure about that. I will think about it.
The add-on has an auto-delete timer. It might be something like this.

    Thanks, that would be great.

Hi, in the next version 2.6.0 there are hooks for the WordPress exporter and eraser.
There is also a mass edit option for anonymizing.
    Both do the same thing.

also, the auto anonymize timer has been added to the add-on and will come in the next version.
