When the NextGEN Gellery plugin is activated I got JavaScript Errors while editing posts and pages – TinyMCE editor doesn’t work.

    NextGEN Gellery 3.0.1
    WordPress 4.9.6

    What can I do?

  • @djdyonis – We just double checked to be sure, but this is definitely not something any of us are seeing. And I assume if it was common/general issues, we’d be seeing a lot of reports here. That probably means it’s something quite specific.

Any chance you could send us a screenshot so we can see exactly what you mean by broken? Sounds like you are familiar with how to see JS errors as well. If you can send those (or a screenshot), that we be very helpful too. Maybe even more helpful. If it’s not something you want to post publicly for some reason, you can also send to us via https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/

    Thanks.

Ok, the errors there aren’t NextGEN specific. If you haven’t already could we ask if you could please deactivate NGG and confirm if the errors and issue are still there?

No, after I deactivate NGG, editor works correctly

@djdyonis – Just shared this with one of our devs. Based on your JS errors, he’s thinking it is probably a conflict with the “zia3-css-js” plugin you have installed. That plugins seems to be including their own jQuery UI (not needed since its included in WP core).

Any chance you could confirm and try deactivating that plugin momentarily to test?

    Absolutely right!
Why in this case everything worked fine when the NGG plug-in was deactivated?
