Response message above submit button if required field is empty

Hi,
first of all thank you for this great plugin!

Is it possible to have a message directly above (or below) the submit-button if a required field is empty? Now there a message only under the empty field but this is not visible when I the user scrolls to the submit button.

thanks for your answer. I know how to locate the general response message box. But there is no message if there is an empty required field. It just shows a message if there are too much characters or when the form was successfully sent.

I know. But this warning message are not in visible space when people click on the submit button. It looks like nothing happens if you click submit and there are empty required fields.

What I want to achive is wether scrolling to the required field which is empty or show a message near the submit button.

Yes, the response message near the submit button is the standard behaviour: https://snag.gy/ZVi6mp.jpg

Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict.

The problem was this plugin:
CF7 Invisible reCAPTCHA
I deactivated it.
