Hi, After many hours searching for the issue I have found that after an update last month of the Give Plugin. I have concluded that it is the Give plugin that caused some features to not be available on my Learn press plugin their after. I had to uninstall plugins one by one to finally get my features back. I am trying to have yall look into this issue and also ask if there is a link to a previous version of the Give plugin that I can download since that version proved to work with the LMS Learn Press plugin without flaw. Please help me with this matter. My Clients give/donations page is crucial to their business. I look forward to help from the forum.

    Hi there,

I’m going to test Give against LearnPress now and let you know what I find. While it seems that it is only an issue between Give and LearnPress, sometimes it’s also a unique combination of Give + Other Plugin + Theme, or Hosting Environment or whatnot that could create that unique problem. But I’ll keep you posted on that.

In the meantime, use our free WP Rollback plugin to roll Give back to a previous version.

Can you also tell me a bit about what features exactly in LearnPress stopped working with the Give update? What should I be looking for in that regard to test?

    Thanks!

I installed LearnPress locally with Give, went through their whole onboarding and imported their sample course, signed up for the course, walked through the course, browsed the admin pages and never came across one error message or problem. So I do not think there is a strict bug or incompatibility between the two plugins.

Can you please provide your System Info? Find that at “Donations > Tools > System Info” and paste it here or as a Dropbox link (if you’d like to delete it later).

Sorry for the late reply. I have been working nights these days. Some of the feature loss after the Give update was a loss of the ability to add content to the courses in learn press. I will attach screenshots so you know what to look for. I also lost the course settings area as well in the edit course section. Screenshots below. I will also attach screenshots of my plugins and add-ons I have associated with both Give and LP.

The first 3 are what was missing after the update of Give.

So I have activated Give plugin again and have the ability to adjust the curriculum now but lose my course settings section. I get the course settings section back with version 2. 0. 6 but lose the ability to use Recurring Donations and Stripe Gateway that is needed to process payments on our site for monthly donor’s. Can you look into why this could be. It will not let me activate the Recurring donations or Stripe Gateway give plugins without being on the most up to date version of Give which is 2.1.2+. I hope this information helps you with the troubleshooting process.
