My site was working fine yesterday. I go to log in today and get: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘do’ (T_DO), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /home4/underground/public_html/aaronforce.net/wp-content/plugins/kirki/modules/webfonts/class-kirki-fonts-google-local.php on line 83

I have no idea what has happened and I have no access to my site. Have I been hacked? I have zero “coding” skills, I just want to fucking write. Somebody please help me through this

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Yourkirki plugin seems to be the error.

Access your server via FTP/ SFTP , or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete kirki` plugin.

Also consider reporting the issue at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/kirki

Same thing happened to me. Here’s my error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘do’ (T_DO), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /home3/teejay/public_html/wp-content/plugins/kirki/modules/webfonts/class-kirki-fonts-google-local.php on line 83

I do appreciate the help but I have never used ftp. I’ve tried two different programs and can’t get either to work. My real problem now is to figure out how to use ftp, not an easy feat for someone who is completely tech averse and unfamiliar with it. Are there reputable services that I can pay to just fix my site for me?

Are there reputable services that I can pay to just fix my site for me?

I wish you hadn’t done that.

Per the forum guideline I am now closing this topic.

    https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#do-not-offer-to-pay-for-help

You’re going to get people asking you on your own site and when that happens, please report that in a new topic. That person and company will be banned from this site if they seek a paid job from you.

Please consider raising a new topic in that plugin’s sub-forum.

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/kirki/#new-post

    For this topic, try this.

    1. Using whatever file management tools your host has provided you with visit the /wp-content/plugins directory.
    2. Once there locate the kirki directory and deleted it. Just that one directory and nothing else.
    3. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
    4. And re-visit your site. If the problem still exists for you after that then please start that new topic in the plugin’s support sub-forum as suggested.
