SIMPLE HELP NEEDED!

    I am not familiar with technology or WordPress, but I cannot figure out these seemingly simple issues and need some help!

    I downloaded a new theme from WordPress theme library, but can’t figure out how to upload it to get it into my theme folder. I go to “import” and then “WordPress files” but it doesn’t work – it says “invalid file.” what?

    Please help me with SPECIFIC steps / advice in LAYMAN’S terms… i get lost when all the digitial computer lingo gets tossed around.

    You’re going to have problems if you don’t know things like FTP.

    To install a theme you generally just need to upload the theme folder into your wp-content/themes directory.

    The link Ipstenu listed above is good, and about as “simple” as you can get. If these things are too advanced for you, maybe you would want to think about setting your blog up on WordPress.com.

    Just a thought..
