Unable To Load Usual Theme

    Due to a virus I have lost all of the data from the site and need to start again. I use the Skinbeauty theme on other sites and also on this one, before everything disappeared. However, when I try and upload it I see – The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

    Any help appreciated, thank you

    The theme file may exceed the max upload rule. Depending on your hosting, there are a few ways to edit your php.ini file. Give it a google and you will be all set.

    The issue is caused by your server’s configuration. There’s potential workarounds but the simplest solution is to contact your host to see if they can increase the upload size limit for you so that you can upload your theme.

    Hi

    Thank you, I have managed to upload the template. Now I have another problem, although I use this theme on other sites I am seeing the message that line 28 has a syntax problem, so I edit that line, then line 30, then 50. I`ll have no code left at this rate.

    I like this theme but not sure what`s going on

    It’s possible you’re running an out of date version of PHP that doesn’t support something your theme is doing (trying to use anonymous functions on 5.2 is common), or it could be the other way around: your theme is out of date and not compatible with newer versions of PHP. What are the specific syntax errors you’re seeing?
