Unable to Activate New Theme

    Hi, lately I have purchased a WP theme.
    I’ve uploaded it and activated it.
    But right after I activated it, problem occurs.
    Every page of my blog becomes unable to display.
    Just showing blank white page.
    I then delete the theme from my server and only then
    it switched back to the default WP theme.
    And it says that the theme is broken.
    I do not know why, but I’ve tried with another blog of mine,
    and it works.

    Why is this so? Can anyone here help?

    Sounds like possibly you didn’t get all the files in the theme uploaded. You might try again.

    Hello, thanks for your help.
    I’ve tried with another of my blog and it works.
    So I guess I received all the files.
    So do you know why this problem occur?

    Just because all the files uploaded successfully on one blog site does not mean they all uploaded successfully on the site on which it has not been working. The problem is not that you don’t have all the files. The question is, did all the files UPLOAD when you installed the theme.

    The only way to find out of that is the problem is to upload them all again and see if it works. If you still have the problem then you have determined one thing at least that is NOT the source of the problem.

    Debugging is a process of elimination, starting with the most basic and obvious.

    Possibility:
    1. Files not uploaded completely
    2. Please check whether the permission is all set correct
    3. Please check whether the theme is matched with the WP version
    4. The theme was already broken
    ..

    Hello, I’ve tried to upload the files quite a number of times.
    But still it does not work.

    How can I check whether the theme is matched with my WP version??
