    As of June 11, Google will require users of Google Maps to set up a billing account to use the service. Low volume users may be able to use it with no charges to Thier Billing Account! (For Now!) Having the option to use Open Street Maps or Google Maps would be a nice addition to your great plugin. Geodirectory plugin is already doing this. Food for thought. Thanks again for all your hard work.

    From what I understand you get $200 free credits every month, this will likely be more then enough to cover normal usage. I also highly doubt they will ever kill the free option completely.

    I did however look into Open Street Maps in combination with Leaflet, and it does look like a nice option to add in the future. But I do really first have to finish work on the directory add-on.

    The current JS file that handles Google Maps and all the options / actions is over 2000 lines, so it will take some time to code that in Leaflet again.

    Okay, after playing around a bit with Open Maps / Leaflet, I decided I will work on converting all the existing JS to work with Open Maps before continuing work on the directory add-on.

    So you will get the option to chose between Google Maps and Open Maps once I’m done coding.
