Is there a way to create an exteral login page like on perezhilton?

You have to be logged in to be able to post comments.
When logging in, you’re taking to another page (not wp-login) and you can rearrange everything. This way you can put the avatars on your own server (not gravatar) and people can’t access the profile page in wordpress.
