Hi there. I came here with the same question in mind. It would be great to have pop-up triggers other than buttons for visual purposes. Kindly advice if there is a solution to this.

Yes @quidger I did solve it but not as elegant as I wanted. I used an icon instead of an image, and that icon is the content related to the popbox. Does that help you?
@asrguy, can you please post step by step how did you make it work? I want to use it for click on elementor image.
