Update SWF Upload without updating WordPress core?

    In regards to the Flash Uploader in 2.6.3 not working with Flash 10:

    Is it possible to update only the SWF Upload code in 2.6.3, rather than upgrading to 2.7.1, to fix the issue?

    I don’t want to do a complete update due to compatibility issue with some of the plugins I’m using.
