I’m being told by SEO consultants that my Google search results are very low because of the way Google recognizes (or doesn’t recognize) my event listings, which make up the primary content of my site. I can’t add meta info to the events using Yoast. I found a support thread about meta tags for social media but I’m trying to find out if there’s any way I can add meta data to each event for Google to improve SEO. Or any feedback about EME and SEO. Thanks!

This addresses only Yoast for Twitter, not Google search.
I’m wondering if there’s any way to add meta tags, keywords, and meta description to event listings for Google to index them. Or anything that will make event listings searchable by Google for SEO. Thanks.

Seriously? The example I mentioned even shows how to add meta tags and stuff …
If you read up on SEO ( example https://moz.com/blog/seo-meta-tags ), you’ll soon learn that title and description are the only meta tags that really matter (and any SEO consultant telling you differently doesn’t know how google indexes pages).

Thanks. I’ll share this with my developer and SEO consultant.
