How do I change the color of the Search, Create a listing and other buttons that are so faint, they appear as thought they are not active.

Sorry that you ran into issues with this!

All fonts, colors and spacing can be changed using custom CSS. Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with Business Directory in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of BD: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-bd-2-1/
