Here is a possible solution.
In the dashboard, go to menus
Pick the menu you want to adjust
Add a custom link. In the URL field of the form add “”
Then move the two links below this new item.
Delete the old About link.
Please be aware that this will be in a navigation section and not a good practice. (For that warning I thank Andrew Nevins.)

. In the URL field of the form add “”
As a very minor and slight improvement I would make the URL have the value of “#”:
#
But thank you for the great advice @@stilman-davis
As an extension to what @anevins has said, you could also make the About menu item a link to the first submenu item in the menu. Not ideal, but this is one approach I’ve seen applied on various sites.
Thank you, Andrew and Daniel.
I was solve the problem of no navigation on the tab, but your different solutions make better semantic sense. I will have to watch that stuff.
Add “trying to” after “I was” sorry for the elision.
I replied with this on your dropbox
“See Custom Links, drop that down, there are two fields URL and “link text” There is also a button to commit the change to the menu. Then you will have to save the updated menu”
I hope that helped.
