Can you edit text in the footer without going to footer.php?
That depends. Obviously if something is showing up that you dont want there — you need to edit that file. If you just want to add something, you could write a little plugin that calls wp_footer, but its infinitely easier just to edit that file.
Is there something amiss in your ability to edit .php files?
This is my footer :

In the footer is some text, like:
Adress : Adress here
Phone : Phone number here
E-mail : E-mail here
Can you edit this text like a sort of post? I mean without going to footer.
I’m using the Modern-Vintage theme on my wordpress site and need to edit the information in the footer. I have NO programming experience and have no idea how to go about doing this — I don’t even recall where/how I edited the information that’s in there right now.
