different open tab based on link to page

Hello,
I have the need to open a different tab other than the first tab. Actually I need both.
I am not sure how to explain.
let’s say I ha ve 4 tabs
Tab 1, Tab 2 Tab 3, Tab 4

link #1 and link #2 both go to the same age, but if I get there via link one I want tab 1 to be open/active. IF I get there via link 2 I want the page to load with tab #2 open and active, is this possible?
