Does Not Work in Version 4.9.5

    This plugin does not appear to work in WP 4.9.5.
    Still seeing “visual editor” tab in widgets.
    Update coming?

    Correct, this plugin ONLY does anything if the WP version is 4.8.0

    After the ‘outcry’ caused WordPress did two things in 4.8.1 and beyond
    1. created a legacy mode if textwidget prior to 4.8 had html it automatically disabled the visual editor
    2. they introduced the HTML widget for HTML

    So this plugin exists just for legacy purposes. Its in the description.
