Restarting WordPress Scheduler

So I discovered the WordPress scheduler on my site wasn’t working.

I contacted my hosting provider Easyspace, they said loopback requests were disabled by default. They confirmed they have now enabled them for my site.

Can anyone tell me if there is anything I have to do to restart the scheduler? Or will it restart on its own? I don’t see anything disabling Cron jobs in wp-config.php.
