Importing Reoccurring donations

Hi friends, I currently have a support request in on another issue through priority support but thought this question might have use for others. I’m migrating a client with existing reoccurring donations (about 100) from Blackbaud. I am migrating the existing donors to the GiveWP install and using PayPalPro as the payment gateway.

What is the best workflow for migrating these donors? My current plan is to have them all re-input directly into PayPal Manager to create reoccurring profiles then export them in order to import them into Give so all existing donors as well as future donations/donors are in the same place. I’m assuming it should go in this direction as I need to coordinate all the existing donor’s individual monthly donation dates, etc.

Can anyone tell me if I should be looking at this differently, or if GiveWP has a capability that would allow for a) inputting/importing existing donors b) performing the next in a series of monthly donations for each c) syncing this with PPPro so that pre-existing monthly donation dates for each donor record can be preserved?
