You didn’t share a link to your website, but the first thing that pops in my mind is an overlay with transparency.
If you have a darker (say grey or black) with transparency set, the background (including text) will look slightly different and blurry.
Let me know if this solves the issue.

Its only in Chrome. researching this, seems to have something to do with antialiasing text. Not sure how to fix it though.

actually i worked out the issue,
I use chromium, Chrome is fine and doesnt have this issue (I assumed chromium and chrome renders the same but it doesnt)
