• Hi there,
I have just upgraded Ultimate Member from 2.0.4 to 2.0.5 for a client (I can’t specify the website for privacy concerns). The conditional menu is not working properly, while it was working with the version 2.0.4.
    In particular:
    1) Logged-In users can see menu items supposed to be only visible to logged-out users. Is there a way to downgrade to Ultimate Member 2.0.4 until the issue is solved?
    Thanks.

  • I noticed it as well. But in a different browser it works fine im assuming if your logged in as an admin it will show all the menu items

not logged in on IE works as it should, logged in on chrome show all menu items

You can downgrade it using the WP Rollback plugin

It seems like the problem only affects the admins. I tested out with Chrome, IE and Firefox with the same result: when admins are logged in, they can also see the menu items which should be only visible to unregistered users.

I had to downgrade UM to the version 1.3.88. Please fix the conditional logic. Thanks

Same problem?? I can create menu links using conditional logic for showing only to logged in users but once I select the role and save them they all disappear. LInks I created before are working ok.

Can you please upgrade to 2.0.6 and see if your menu is fixed? (make sure to have a backup before updating)

    Thanks

    Hi there,
I upgraded to 2.0.6 in a local instance and it seems the conditional menus are working properly now. I will update in prod environment as soon as possible and get back to you.

    Thanks

I confirm that it looks like with the version 2.0.6 the problem has been fixed for the admins. However, although the conditional menu have been kept, I had to re-select all the user roles able to access the menu items visible to logged in users.

    Thank you

For me it is still not working with version 2.0.6. In 2.0.4 (and before) it was working fine. Since 2.0.5 some menu items are shown to the Administrator that should only be visible for a particular other group.
Under Ultimate Member Menu Settings the Administrator role is not showed anymore, in 2.0.4 it was. (I have screenshots if you need).
    Hope this can be fixed.
