Invoice plugin

I’m finding it difficult to identify which forum should be used to post a general query about recommended plugins, so I’m trying here. If here is a better forum to use, please let me know and I’ll move there.
I’m trying to locate a Client Portal plugin that would supply the following functionality:
- Ongoing import of invoice information. Not just a first time setup type of import, but the ability to import invoice’s as a regular part of operations.
- Client login and ability to select invoices to pay and then make the payment.
That’s it. I’m not looking for an invoice creation or any type of accounting system, just the ability for a client to login, look at outstanding invoices, and make a payment. All other accounting will be handled outside of WordPress.

I did hear from wp-client and they do not support what I’m looking for. Here is their reply:
Unfortunately it is not currently possible to import files into WP-Client to have them automatically created as “Invoices” in the plugin. In order for an Invoice to be created within WP-Client (meaning, an Invoice that can be paid online through WP-Client), the Invoice would need to be created via the built-in Estimates/Invoices functionality of WP-Client.
So I’m still looking.
