    WooCommerce 3.3.4/WP 4.9.5.

When I manually add an order I first search under ‘guest’ whether the customer already exists. If not, I go to “Billing” and add the customers information.
However it seems the customer data doesn’t get stored that way > when I add another order I do not find the customer when searching under ‘guest’ (first 3 characters).
Somehow the system doesn’t view the information as ‘customer’?

When customers buy in the webshop, they create an account and this data DOES get stored als customer. It seems when I add an order manually this doesn’t happen.

Is there a setting I need to tweak or something else I’m overlooking?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

    Your observation is correct.
If you want the data to be reusable you need to stop inserting the customer information during manual order creation and go to users >> add new users first instead. Create a new user there, then go to the manual order creation and search for your newly created user.

    Kind regards,
