file list after login

    Hi, I just installed WP on my local system. I run through the steps, got all tables in my mySQL System,
    got a password.
    by using the login, I receive no html page, just the file listing of my directory wp-admin.
    when opening for example the file: index.php within /wp-admin
    I can work, but not after the normal login.
    whats the problem?
    any idea?

    Is the php extension recognised by your system as being a valid file ?
    I think the file to check is the httpd.conf in /apache.

    yes, the extension php is known.
    could it be a mod_rewrite problem?
    because when I login, I get the file list. selecting the index.php
    I’m logged in and can work with wp.
