The latest WP update (4.9.4) resulted in a deactivation of ShiftController. I updated SC manually to 4.0.1 and activated it. This initial activation failed stating missing files. Second attempt succeeded. Now I can access the app but there is no schedule data. Our schedules have been blown out. Is the data stored within a SQL table that the link got severed? Please help, my employees are unable to see their schedules and I really don’t want to manually reenter. Thank you for your help. Love the app, by the way – it was a great solution to paper schedules across three different locations!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,
the old version used its own tables in the database, the new version moved to WordPress custom post types. Anyway it should automatically import your old data, please try to go to ShiftController, Administration, About, then click Complete Reinstall, it should detect your old version tables and import that data into the new version.

    Hi,
I’m sorry we’ve just fixed a bug in the upgrade script that might have been the source of this issue, it’s fixed in version 4.0.2.

Please do again go to ShiftController, Administration, About, then click Complete Reinstall, it should detect your old version tables and import that data into the new version.

the new update outputs the shortcode in frontend instead of the tables….

[shiftcontroller route=”listme”] is shown in frontend instead of the user’s data.

This is a really good plugin…thumbs up

    Hello,
the shortcode was changed to [shiftcontroller4], and so far there’re no parameters – it displays the “public schedule”.

    Many thanks for the assistance!

Updated to latest Shift Controller (4.0.2). Everything is gone. I don’t have any option to update the staff. Earlier version was good to go, but this broke everything. Please Help

    Hi,
could you please give me a temporary WP admin access, please send it through http://www.shiftcontroller.com/contact/

Is there any way to revert back to v3 until all the bugs are worked out?

    Hi,
we’ve just published an new update, version 4.0.3 that fixed a few v3 to v4 migration bugs. Also we’ve re-added a number of good things from the old version – month view, custom time shifts, edit time for existing shifts, more stats (hours and shifts) right in the calendar view, shift detailed view screen.
