Permalink change help?

I have a custom theme which i downloaded then trashed and has the /shop__trashed/ after my URL but i want to change it to my front (home) page which i cannot edit/access the /shop__trashed/ part of the URL? I asked my theme provider and they said that this is a wordpress issue? I was wondering is there any way i can get this changed so i can make it my home page or a plugin to install?
