Shortcode in footer widget

    I inserted this shortcode into a widget but instead of executing the slide of logos it shows the code in text [logoshowcase hide_border=”false” slides_column=”3″]. What did i do wrong?

    Thank you. What I did to solve the problem is that I inserted a text widget into the footer instead and then it worked.
