Add Tooltips to Titles?

    First, I would like to thank you for responding and solving the issue I had with dollar signs and pound signs in Tab Titles.

    What I’m looking for now is a way to add tooltips to titles. So when someone hovers their mouse cursor over the title “$”, a tooltip pops up saying “United States Dollars”, and when hovering over “£” it says, “Pounds Stirling”. And so on.

    Looking on the internet on how to create tooltips, the examples I see require me to use html in the title, which doesn’t seem to work with Tabby.

    Tooltips are not a feature of the plugin, so this is not supported. It might be possible to add this, but if so it would require custom code and I would not have time to work on it unless it was for one of my paid client projects.

    If I needed tabs for differenct currencies I would probably use the three letter shortened form for each currency eg: $ USD, ‎€ EUR, £ GBP

    Your suggestion for using the three letter shortened form was the most wise one, but I really wanted tooltips.

    I figured out a few ways to do it. I finally settled on one way.
