Private blog with Excerpt

Hi,

I’m new to WP. I’ve migrated a BLog ML xml to WordPress (Working great!)

I now need some pointers on how to achieve a private member only blog. But i need the excerpts to show on the main screen.

I’ve installed “Easy Custom Auto Excerpt” Plugin and can configure the Excerpt settings fine. I’ve also installed “Simple WordPress Membership” Plugin. I can make my posts membership only, but it only shows the Blog title when not logged in.

Are there any “Free” plugins out there that can achieve this?
