    Hi,

I’ve enabled 404 detection at my website. However, I’ve been seeing IPs from Google that are captured getting 404s. My question is that if there’s a way to whitelist Google’s IP to avoid cluttering up false-positive 404s at my log?

    Thank you!

Hi, can you provide a Google IP address that is getting a 404 error message.

    Thank you

    66.102.9.25

    Hi Ed
There is currently no way to suppress certain IP addresses from showing up as 404 events.
Having said that I think you can take advantage of that information to determine why there might be a lot of 404s coming from google bots and try and fix any broken links and deleted/moved pages on your site.
