Hello, clear your cache. Also if you have disabled any scripts, go to Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, click Save Changes, then clear your cache.
@oceanwp That did it. Clicking “Save changes” in Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles and then clearing the cached worked.
Clearing the cache without clicking save changes first doesn’t work.
I saw that suggestion earlier and have already tried it.
@warbirdgames can you sen de your site url?
Yes:
http://www.elmatadorfoods.com/elmatadorfoods2018/
I have searched through the child theme, but I can’t find anything that would be effecting it. It’s just a style.css (and the original style.css is empty), a functions.php and one custom page.
I tried changing my child theme version number and the mobile menu finally went away. However, my child theme isn’t carry over the header and logo information from the parent theme at all.
Having the exact same issue here. The suggestion of saving scripts and clearning cache has had no effect.
Hello, update to 1.5.8 version, then clear your cache. Also, if you have disabled a script go to Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, then clear your cache and that will fix the issue.
Updated the theme, enabled all scripts on theme panel, saved and cleared the cache (on clouflare aswell) and still have the mobile menu issue on desktop using Google Chrome. With Safari works fine.
I have the same problem (since today):
mobile icon does not disappear in desktop view.
I’ve the latest version of WordPress
I’ve saved changes in Scripts & Styles
Then cleared my cache
And nothing changed; the icon is still visible under the desktop menu in the header.
FYI:
Browser: Chrome (latest version)
Theme: OceanWP (latest version)

Hi, do you use a child theme? If yes, switch to the parent theme to check if it works, if yes, it is a file that you have added to your child theme, you need to copy the new file of the new OceanWP and add your changes in it.
@oceanwp Yes! that works. Although the desktop menu need some styling again (is too wide now), but that’s not much work to fix again.
Thanks for replying so fast btw.
And sorry for posting twice (I saw after posting here, that this topic was already marked as ‘solved’ and I assumed that that meant that it would not be checked/answered anymore.
You can do something, activate your child theme, go to Theme Panel > Import/Export, click the export button, activate the parent theme, go back to the Import/Export page and import the json file.
Hello Nick,
Good work I must say.
Please I have this same problem, and I have tried everything suggested here without a change. I would have dropped the URL but the website is currently on maintenance mode. Please is there any other solution?
Also, is there a way to separate the cart icon from the mobile menu link, like the link on the left and the cart on the right? Because I’m having the cart icon under the link now, kinda vertically aligned.
PS: I know absolutely NOTHING about coding.
Thank you.

Hello, are you using a child theme? Because if you have cleared your cache and you still have the issue, there is something wrong as it is just the CSS file who need to be updated.
