I’m using WP 4.9.4 and the plugin doesn’t seem to work. How do I connect the related product to the main product I’m selling? I have 2 products to sell (ie: a webpage) and each one shares a related product (ie: an installation service). I have the installation service tagged at “related product”. How do I assign that “related product” to the other 2 products (web pages)? I was able to get a product (the other webpage) to appear on the page but it wasn’t the correct related product – the installation service (and the product image for the other webpage was HUGE – 800×800).

Please help! I sooo hope this can work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello there, the plugin works fine with 4.9.4
If you just have 3-4 products you don’t need that plugin as its purpose it to generate random related from a pool of products sharing taxonomies or attributes.

However, if you want to set up the plugin you simply need to add a shared TAG or a Product Category to group your products and then set the plugin to pair by TAG or Category.

You can find plugin settings page under woocommerce/woo related products

Thank you for your quick response! I’m working that out now… how do I make it so the images are smaller? The control via woocommerce isn’t applying… is there CSS in your plugin that can handle that?

    Thanks again!

I’m sorry… I just can’t seem to get this to work… I must be doing something wrong on my end. Here is a screenshot of my products. I’m using categories to try and link everything together.

    The product page is at:

I’m trying to have it so a client can add the professional installation with the purchase of either the basic or advanced version of my product.

Is it possible to also add the professional install related product on the “Cart” page as well in case they missed it on the product page?

    Thanks again for your help!

Hello, I just checked the product URL you sent.
the Related products2 section is my plugin’s output and it looks fine, the image is not huge and the related product seems to be right.

Now the second block with Related Products title (the second one) is your theme’s related products section. If you check the HTML output you will see “section porto-related-products”

Now if you have set my plugin to relate products by category you should get all products related to each other. If you don’t get that then it is a theme conflict I guess.Did you try to disable theme’s related output?

As for the CSS you can override any CSS rule (coming from a theme or plugin) by editing your child theme’s style.css or by using wp customizer’s css section.
