    My hosting company disabled the plugin, then restored it and the site went down again. Is there a new update. Can I delete the plugin and reinstall without deleting all the settings? I have several addon plugins which I have disabled and I’m not able to activate the WP-testing again. I get this error:

    Warning: require_once(/home/crossino/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-testing/src/bootstrap.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/crossino/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-testing/wp-testing.php on line 14

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    @janeburch, hi

    As I see in zip file of latest update https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-testing.0.21.10.zip

    The file bootstrap.php is on it’s place.

    Pls give more info when and HOW it crached? Does error was this “failed to open stream” or somthing other?

    My guess here is somthing not unzipped correclty and it not related to latest update.

    Tell your hosting company to unzip latest wp-testing.0.21.10.zip to wp-plugins directory.

    Issue was investigated on place at Jayne’s site.

    I downloaded plugin’s directory from cpanel and compared with latest wordpress-hosted version. Assume about corrupted files confirmed. Files was corrupted during autoupdate process, when they was unzipped.

    It could happened with any plugin, that have more than one file. So it’s not related to wp-testing or it’s latest update.

    Here is diff where we see some files missing:

    Alexander, Thank you very much for your quick response and troubleshooting on this problem. Manually replacing the corrupted files as you did has restored the plugin and the website. We have e had no further issues. That’s great because the plugin has worked very well for us and our client. We have been very satisfied with its performance and the add-one. Thanks again.
